Notes
Brassil was born in Canberra and grew up in Narrabundah. He was a national serviceman who enlisted in October 1969 and served in Vietnam with the 2nd Special Air Service Squadron from 17 February 1971 until 26 August 1971. Brassil was discharged in Perth, Western Australia the following month.
