Notes
Boyd embarked from Sydney in March 1901, disembarking at Port Elizabeth on 17 April 1901. His unit fought in the Transvaal before returning to Australia in June 1902. He bought a property near Toowoomba in Queensland, then another at Griffith, but after his wife died in 1923 he sold his smallgoods shop in Sydney returned to Hall. He moved to Ainslie in 1940 and worked as a shearer and general labourer. Horse racing and greyhounds were his main interests. Frank Boyd died on 6 September 1974 and is buried in the Woden Cemetery.
